Lifestyle Family + Newborn Session

All my family sessions are primarily documentary style, held in your own home or a park in Glasgow. I’m not a fan of the traditional cheesy studio portraits. I take the time to get to know you first, by sending out a questionnaire and then arranging a video call before your session. This is a great way for me to find out what you like to do together then suggesting things for your shoot.

Popular ideas are:

Camping, picnics, playing games, cooking, helping with chores, bath-time, story time, walking by the river, climbing trees, snuggle time or walking the dog.

I also offer longer sessions, which are either a half day or full day in the life of. On these sessions, I switch between photos and video. There is no need to worry about whether your kids behave themselves and smile all day, this isn’t always true life and sometimes the tantrums and the quiet moments make the best photos. As we have more time to play with there is the option of doing something more adventurous, like me joining you for a day of camping where you cook all your food on a stove and build a fire, or go swimming in the sea, then I’ll head off home to let you enjoy the rest of your time together. I am open to all adventures and will work with you to come up with the ideas for this kind of shoot.
